Creative With Stamps Challenge #1 - Butterfly

Olá!

Começa hoje um novo desafio em Creative With Stamps. Não, não é brincadeira de 1º de abril! É mesmo a sério! :D

 Para o primeiro, a palavra chave é Borboleta. Se quiserem participar, o vosso cartão deve ter uma borboleta estampada ou uma imagem digital deste inseto. Pode mesmo ser um postal em forma de borboleta. Interpretem como quiserem.

Para o meu postal, usei uma base branca onde apliquei tinta de distress azul muito suave. Depois estampei a borboleta, que é um carimbo antigo da DoCrafts, com tinta Versamark e usei pó de embossing branco. 

Noutro papel, desta vez papel vegetal grosso ou papel de engenheiro, estampei outra borboleta, fiz o embossing com o mesmo pó branco e recortei. Depois de colá-la, apliquei algumas pedras brilhantes.

Espero que gostem e que participem neste novo desafio, pois os prémios valem a pena! E, como este é o mês do aniversário das co-fundadoras, Lilian e Monika, haverá prémios adicionais. Yeeeei!

This is it! A new challenge starts for all those who love cards and stamps. 

Creative With Stamps starts today!! No, it's not an April Fool's joke! It's for real! :D

For the first challenge you have to use a Butterfly. Interpret the theme as you like! You can use a butterfly stamp, make a butterfly-shaped card, make your own butterfly, etc. 

As long as it is a card and stamping is included (digis allowed), you're good to go!

Be creative!

In my case, I started with a piece of white paper where I used distress ink to give it that soft look. Then I stamped the butterfly, which is an old DoCrafts stamp, with Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.

On another piece of paper, this time vellum, I stamped the same butterfly and then fussy cut it and glued it on my card. For the finishing touches, I used rhinestones on the butterfly body and a few on its trail.

I hope you give this challenge a try because the prizes are really worth it. And because it's also the birthday month of our co-founders, Lilian and Monika, we have even more prizes! Isn't that great?
